Offensive statements about the Sangh in the political science textbook; Defamation notice sent to publisher and author
Mumbai (VSK). In Sheth Prakashan’s book on political science (Semester-1) of the first year of the Arts (University of Mumbai), a wrong and offensive statement has been made about the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. These statements are misleading about the Sangh, therefore legal notice has been sent to the publisher and author of the book regarding the defamatory, and offensive statement.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s Ghatkopar Vibhag sahkaryvah Anand Kadam says, this notice has been sent on March 30, 2022 by Adv. Prakash Salsingikar.
Sheth Publication’s Semester-1 of Political Science has two sections, Indian Political System and Indian Political Process. Page no. 164 – The role of Hindu organizations states that “certain scholars look at the communal riots as a handiwork of organized and militant Hindu organizations like the RSS. However, the RSS leaders have claimed that they are in no sense responsible for the communal riots.”
The word ‘terrorist’ is used in this book. Which is extremely wrong and defamatory.
Accordingly, the notice has been sent to the authors of the book, Mahesh Bhagwat, Monica Verma and Prashant Kelkar and the publisher of the book, Sheth Publications Pvt. Ltd.
The notice states that the team has been defamed in the book. The wrong message is reaching millions of students and an attempt has been made to discredit the Sangh, which is working to remove every obstacle in our society. Emotions of Hindu’s are hurted. Name of the Sangh has been mentioned even though it is not necessary. This attempt has been made to tarnish the image of the Sangh.
